Privacy policy
How this site handles your data.
This policy covers what AERONAUTIR collects when you use this site, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated: this is the current version as of the site's launch — see "Changes to this policy" below.
What we collect
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide and the date you subscribed. That's it — no name, no tracking of what you open or click. It's used solely to send you new articles as they publish.
- Contact form. Submitting the contact form sends your name, email address, chosen subject and message directly to our editorial inbox by email. We do not store contact-form submissions in a database — they exist only as an email, subject to our normal email retention.
- Third-party embeds. Video and podcast pages embed YouTube and Spotify players. Interacting with those players is subject to YouTube's and Spotify's own privacy policies and may set their own cookies — that's between you and them, outside our control.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use your data for anything beyond the specific purpose you gave it to us for.
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact-form messages are kept as long as we keep the email they arrived in.
Your choices
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, or to ask us to delete any data we hold about you, use the contact form — we handle these requests manually and will confirm once it's done.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle data changes, we'll update this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
