About
About AERONAUTIR
Analysis of aerospace power and geopolitics, written by former military aviators.
AERONAUTIR covers aerospace power and the geopolitics that surrounds it. It is written by former military aviators, which is the whole point: the analysis comes from people who have operated inside the systems being discussed.
What we publish
Fewer pieces than a wire service, and longer ones. We are not trying to be first on a press release. We are trying to be the place a professional reader goes when they want to understand what a development actually means.
Editorial standards
- Every article carries a named byline and a stated background.
- We do not publish claims we cannot check, and we say when something is uncertain rather than rounding it up to a fact.
- Sponsored content is labelled clearly on the card, the index listing and the article page. It is never presented as editorial.
- Corrections are made openly. Email us with the article URL and the specific error and we will fix it and note the change.
Artwork
Works in the gallery are published with the artist's permission and remain the artist's property. A credit line appears on every thumbnail and artwork page. We do not ingest scanned book plates in bulk — archival material is added only after a per-item permission check.
